When art tools and knowledge sharing is available to people, they will bloom.
For the last three years on Wednesdays, I facilitate a free community watercolor color class. I was able to start this program in collaboration with Delridge Neighborhood Development Association. This program is grant funded and well attended (35 people) each week. I started this program because there was a need for a space that was accessible to people regardless of their financial income, skill, & age to practice art. Each week, we explore skills and themes that are inspired by nature and social emotional awareness. I have learned how to adapt my lessons in the moment to a wide variety of learners (from newborn to 90s!). It is an honor to support people in artmaking through this community that has grown so much over the years.

Sip and Paint Seattle
I lead sip and paint art classes throughout Seattle in a variety of environments focused on paint your pets, people, and holiday themed events. I co- started this business, and we have grown the business to be able to hire other teaching artists to lead events. These classes are well attended and celebrated by the folks who attend. Please come and paint your pet!
